Most of the prominent buildings are named in this view of London from the South. The lettering is not always legible in this reproduction, taken from a 1905 copy. More detailed views are given below of each section, and views of St. Pauls Cathedral, London Bridge, and the section of the south bank with the Globe theatre and the Bear garden are all given in expanded detail. (See the list below).
The original Visscher map is currently on view in an exhibition at the British Library. (Until April 2007).
